I was at the headquarters of EWTN yesterday...that's the Eternal Word Television Network - in Irondale, Alabama - about 20 minutes from my home - founded by Mother Angelica. We weren't there at the right time to take the tour. So, we didn't get to see the TV studio; mass was in progress, so we only got to peek through the door at the chapel; of course the gift shop was open. If you want to see what the 'fundamentalist' section of the Catholic Church is like, tune in to your EWTN station on cable or online. These folks are part of the Pope's caucus. I was curious to see the place since it's so close. Very nice landscaping.
